Default P0305

About 2 months ago I was driving normal in 5th gear and got a flashing ses "P0305" ramdon misfire #5 cyl. I imediatley looked at oil pressure and it was fine. I checked the plug wire and nothing seemed out of the norm, so I cleared the code and thought nothing of it because it did not come back. However, now I got it again after 2 months of code free. So my big question is what all could cause this code? Bad spark plug, bad wire, or is my motor letting go? Just kinda need some reasurance that my motor isn't slowly on its way out.

Default

motor is most likely fine... if it was a big issue it'd be setting more codes and it wouldn't wait 2 months to come back

Since it's intermittent though... it's harder to troubleshoot

I would put new plugs in (good thing to do anyways)... then swap the wire and coil pack w/say Cylinder 6 ... if the code comes back but it's P0306 then you know the wire or coil pack are the issue... at which point you can isolate further
