Timing stuck in low octain table?
Timing stuck in low octain table? I just replaced the lifters in my car,I put every thing back together, I fire up the engine up in SD mode with out the maf and the O2 sensors connected, it ran fine,next day I put every thing back together, connect all sensors then put the battery back on and drive to get fresh gas, while Im driving my IAT is at 57* and my coolent is 180* and I have no KR but at WOT my timing is only 19 * advanced, my timing is programmed at 28* at WOT and I usualy get 27 to 29* at WOT. I've driven this car for miles,Its been two days now, what happed to my timing?

Are there any codes being set? the MAF is connected again right?
There is a learning time too ... not sure exactly how it works... but the car will start off conservative and learn to use more aggressive timing (kinda a blending between high and low octane )
