Low Octane Table
#2
98s have a problem with knock, its very common,so some of them will run in the low octane table. A quick work around in tuning is to mirror the high octane to the low, you can call me if you have questions you know.

I recently filled my tank with a bad fuel: I know because i was monitoring KR to tune timing and after the refill it was KR 2 - 6 all over the place!
At that moment I was happy to have a lower low octane table
I would keep a "safety distance" between the tables, fill a better fuel and reduce timing in the critical spots. I had to reduce 1400-1600 rpm vs 0.36-0.52 G/cyl by 3-5 degrees.
You can also reduce the sensibility of the sensors using an editing software. Just be sure it's false knock.
Do you have codes? Depending on wich one the PCM will command low octane (misfire and other things...)
