VE tables effect WOT?
When I was dyno tuning my car I had a file with my stock VE tables tweaked I was using, but did my PE tuning on a file that had a tweaked Z06 VE table by mistake. Will loading the correct VE table back in the car have any effect on my WOT A/F or jus the part throttle? I read that the VCM uses the VE tables for < 4000 RPM's and steady load > than 4000 RPM's is strictly MAF based. With this in mind I would think the different VE tables would have no bearing on the PE values at WOT, but I'd love to have some input. The tunes are identical other than the VE tables. Thanks fellas!

So I should tweak the low rpm points in the Z06 table that I loaded by mistake to adjust for the cam and leave the rest alone since the car is tuned PE wise with this table.

Overwrite the values for all MAP pressures and 400-3600 RPM with your stock VE tune. I'm assuming you did a speed density tune on your stock VE table. Leave the ones 4000 and above alone. Select values 20-55 kPa and 3600-4400 RPM and do a polynomial smoothing about those values. Select values 60-105 kPa and 3600-4400 RPM and do a polynomial smoothing about those values, also.
That should pretty much put you where you want to be.

narcszm,
That is pretty much what I did. Went in and adjusted the values under 4000 to what they needed to be and left the ones about the 4K mark the way there were so the WOT fueling didn't vary. Thanks for the input!
Thanks guys! Man HP Tuners makes this **** easy! Copy, paste, and your back in the game!
