Default New to PCM editting

Hey guys. I have a lid, catback, hiflow filter, cutout, and various free mods. I think its would be worth my while to tune my car and have the ability around in the future for when I do H/C. so my question is what tuner should I get? I think I heard there is something weird about my year's PCM? (98 Z28) From what I've gathered through both search and reading the stickies, the main editors are HP Tuner and LS1 Edit. which one should I purchase, where can I get it, and what are some of the pros and cons associated with each? thank you very much!

Do not buy LS1Edit. Buy HPTuners or FlashScan(just released). Both have there own forums and great support. LS1Edit has no forum and support is only by e-mail. Both HP and Flash have the logging and tuning in one. LS1Edit does not have a logging that you can use. Using Flash you can log for 20 minutes without needing a notebook. I am using LS1Edit(that was all they had at the time) now but am waiting on FlashScan. Go here for the links:

Good luck.
