PE/VE table question
PE/VE table question How is the PE table value calculated. I have heard that the PE/RPM table should equal your air fuel at wot. 14.7/PE-RPM which for mostof us N/a is 1.130. If the table is off do you correct it in the higher levels of the VE table (90KPA and higher) ? All in Speed Density

Ideally the PE value is supposed to be 14.7/PE value ... but that's assuming that your VE table is accurate at those rpm vs map values... if it's off then WOT fueling will be off too
if the table's off you can guestimate the upper load values, but for 100% accurate WOT you need a wideband... I know I wouldn't feel comfortable running 14.7:1 @ 6000 RPM and 100kpa heh (I don't think my engine would be happy either)

The reason I asked I know that the wot Air fuel is 13.0 from 2500 to 7500, I have verifed this with a wide band and dynojet. The problem is if I back calculate my pe table it does not add up to the 13.0 Air fuel. I don't think that the Air fuel is inaccurate because I had a stand alone WB and the one on the dynojet

THe object of tuning the VE is to get it to produce the exact AFR that is asked (commanded) of it
