ok i read a lot about this i just wanna make sure i know now. once i plug the maf back up there is that one table where i should scale the maf to have the right fuel trims correct? just adjsuting the frequency?
and then tune pe right? then im thinking about the timing tables, im not real sure about what and if that should be changed in there

Try using the Holden MAF table if you are running a lid. If that puts your trims in line, then I would not worry about it anymore. As for the timing...it depends. Some people add until they see knock retard and then back it off. I have a habit of scouring through LSx programs from other years/vehicles and splicing them into my table based on my needs. And I smoothed all my WOT advance to 28 degrees.
can you explain how to get wot advance to 28 or 29*? or is it too dificult to explain? the holden maf table? what is that? if not i just have to scale the table accordingly right?

You need to pull a "Holden" (Monaro I think) VCM off of www.horist.com/hptuner and use their MAF table. If you look at their intake, it is more of a straight shot (kind of like our lids), plus they still use the old MAFs like stock F-body cars. As for the spark table, I have a 98, if you pull down one of those you will see that a lot of the WOT timing is already 28 degrees at the bottom of the chart, and I just had to raise it in a few spots and make everything look nice and tidy. You can download my tune off of Horist's site to see how I did it.
So you haven't found the need to keep a timing dip at peak torque? I haven't really been able to add much in the range of 4000-4800 w/out inducing some kr. I think I have it around 25-26 and then back up to 27-28 after peak torque.
