Is there a write up on this?
If not please detail the steps.

just unscrew the 10mm bolts on the top left part of the engine. you'll see it, it's silve rheld by a blackish bracket. it's right by the plastic windshield covering. just do that, un screw the black screws that go into the bracket and pry off the color coded clips and you're done.

be CAREFUL to torque those 10mms back to specs. too tight and CRACK!!!

i think the torque specs are listed on the top of the PCM itself

Don't know if was really necessary, but when I removed/replaced mine I disconnected the battery just to be safe.

Disconnecting the battery is the smart thing to do... I've removed mine so many times that I get in a hurry and would forget to disconnect ... nothing bad every happen but realistically best to disconnect the battery (now I have a master kill switch on the back bumper so it's easy as pie)
