Default What to do with PCM?

I've got a 99 TA.

I also have a new forged LPE LS6 03' 346, AFR 205 heads and a custom FTI cam.

I have 2 PCM's, one from a 1999, one from a 2000.

Both have tunes on them for my old combo; forged 1999 LS1 346, S2 heads and TR224 with stock MAF and ported TB.

---------------------------------------------------

Should I reuse the 99 PCM with the new combo ( won't be assembled till 4-15-05 so I have a little time ) or get one of them flashed to an 02 or 03 vette? I've already got the LS6 intake and 2001 Z06 vette injectors ( 28.8 I believe ). I thought the vette PCM would be a better start for HPTuning over the the current 99 tune.

Thanks for any help!!

You can't have them flashed to a vette PCM unless you switched your F-Body over to fly by wire

an 01 or 02 F-Body PCM would be a good starting point though...

You can use either PCM for this as they're the same (if you don't have licensing to flash an 00 or 99 to an 01 or 02 PCM then it's no big deal... you just have to copy over the Injector tables and disable some codes)

I guess after reading how the vette programming seems more performance oriented to begin with and the timing is different it would be a better place to start. Thanks Horist.

There are some vette .bins on my site you can use as reference though... but you'll need an F-Body base OS

I must be missing something-- I've been to your site, Mike, and I can't find any bins. Where are they hiding, or am I just visually challenged??

Thanks, Mike. I hadn't tried the sticky. I read one of your posts somewhere and it stated that the bins were on your site, so I went to horist.com, which does not have a link. That's why I couldn't find anything.
