Timing Low at WOT
Timing Low at WOT My timing drops to 13.5 at WOT and slowly moves up to 18 or 19. For example, the instant I go to WOT, the timing drops and as the RPMs reach redline, it's back up to 18 or 19. I run this test from in third gear 4K RPM until redline. I can't check KR with my software, but I'm sure it is going on. I'm using 91 octane, and I don't know why this has started now.
I have reset my PCM several times. This cures the problem for a while, but the problem returns shortly. I noticed a power loss and decided to check into it. I am throwing p0420 and p0430. I'll be taking the cats off to see if they are clogged. Any other ideas?

you sure those are the only codes you're getting? sounds like you're stuck in the Low octane tables...
Though... A clogged cat will kill performance and I suppose cause excess knock since the exhaust gases can't escape fast enough ... which would force you into low octane tables
