Default Question about idle

I had a torque converter installed last summer and since then its idled at a low rpm. It still drive fine but stalls out sometimes. I was wondering if u can have the idle raised by using ls1edit or if i should just tap the throttle body hole bigger. thanks for the help in advance

A bigger blade hole is not going to increase your idle, you can only do that via editing the PCM LS1edit, HPtuners etc...

you could try adjusting your set screw and then resetting your tps...this might give you just enough play.

When I have my stall installed I raised my idle by 100rpm using LS1Edit.

Have you disconnected the battery since the converter install? It might need an idle relearn. Before I let it do an idle relearn it would idle too low.

I have, but once it learns the idle its the same thing and about putting it in gear it does go up a lil but it stalls if you are backing up the rpms will drop low when u stop and the car will stall.
