Default Increase Idle ?

I need to temporarily raise the idle on the SS to pass the idle test for
our emissions control. Can I just turn the screw at the base of the
throttle body where the accelerator cable is? If so, how long till the
computer compensates or starts throwing code lights. I'll turn it back right after the test.

I don't want to mess with my tuning or the program I have now in the PCM.

The car is very clean at the 2500 RPM level, it just fails on idle due to the
slight cam overlap. The idle is now about 950 and I feel around 1200
it should pass.

You'll have to change the idle speed in the code.

Wanted to avoid that - I believe that I can go to about 1150 just
with the set screw. It may throw codes, but I don't care about that.

I don't have the software or equipment to change codes. I had it
professionally dyno tuned.

Just wondering if anyones ever done this.
