Default is my engine in limp home mode?

Well today I installed my lid, and removed my ERG. when I was out with a buddy of my we attempted to do a burnout. I was driving, shut off my TCS and floored it my low trac light came on but the wheels did not break loose, my car also feels slower now. What is heppening. my SES light is on but I assume that is from the ERG removal.

Pretty sure the car goes into limp mode only when the SES light is flashing. Steady light is ok and just means you threw a code. Make sure you reconnected everything properly. Also, make sure you have no vacuum leaks, like where the EGR use to go.

If only the EGR was touched then most likely no... "limp mode" will occur when there's a problem w/one of the primary sensors (MAF, O2s)

Will my AIT sensor trip limp mode because mine is kinda messed up now, I broke the little plastic cover off the sensor. I think my TCS never shut off when I did it, is this possible? I put a bead of rtv around my freeze plug when I put it on so I don't think its a vacuum leak.

well I think my IAT sensor is still working, I was pulling it out of the stock airbox and the little plactic cone that covers the sensor broke off. My car is in the body shop now but I will have a friend of mine take a scanner from work and we will scan it when I get it back. My exhaust did smell I little richer though.

even in 'limp mode' you'd still make enough power to do a burn out, trust me

I'm willing to bet its an ABS, TCS problem since the low track light came on while trying to do a burnout with it off.
