phantom cyl 6 missfire
Ok, so a while back (around December when it was cold) my truck (98 1500 w/99 LS1 swap) started shaking really bad when idleing around (like creeping forward at a light) and it threw the SES light. I went to Auto Zone to get it scanned for free and it read cylinder 6 missfire. Well I replaced my plugs and wires and it didnt really fix it, but not long after me doing that it went away. Well it was gone for a long time, and it just came back today. So I went to Auto Zone again and it again read cylinder 6 missfire. Any thoughts on what might be going on? Coil? I heard those dont go out very often. Any help would be greatly appreciated, this is annoying as hell.

Lets see here. I had the same problem the other day. It turned out mine was a dead o2 sensor. Check your coil, check your spark plugs and wires. Then if that does help i dont know what to tell ya. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice Adam.
Ive already checked everything I knew to do. (Plug, Wire, Coil, Injector) and its still running bad. Im taking it to a mechanic and im going to let him figure it out. I dont have the time or the space or the tools to figure this one out and fix it on my own. (College student at Texas A&M living in a dorm)

Well, I found out that the injector isnt getting any power. So now I have to follow the wire back through the loom and try to find where the connectiong is and see if its bad lot of work.
