Default Speedometer correction

What is the cheapest way to get my speedometer corrected since I added the 4.10s. I called AP engineering, which is where I had my car tuned, and they want $250 to fix the speedometer. I think this is crazy considering I paid $500 for the tune which did alot more then change a speedometer. I might be wrong though.

Thanks,

Ask around on local message forums for people who have HPTuners for your model/year vehicle, and ask them to change your speedo calibration. I am sure a fellow HPT in Mi would be willing to help.

Thanks,
APE has been praised lately for their customer service. If you had your car tuned there, i cant believe they would want that much just to change your gear ratio. Are you sure thats not the price they would charge if you hadnt already been tuned? Many places offer free lifetime retunes everytime you add mods. I cant say wether APE does this, but I really cant see them charging you $250. Call them again and make sure they know you had the car tuned there

It would literally take less than 5 minutes to change the gear setting.
