if your worried about high hp on the edis ignition, the MSD Digital DIS-4 igntion box is made for the DIS wasted spark ignitions, and delivers a CD discharge, just like a MSD 6AL.

also, when considering what route for timing control, remember megasquirt you can change anything: fuel, timing, etc "On The Fly". changes take place instantly.

i'm still running Megasquirt EDIS on my 6.0l, didn't sell the engine, keeping it for now.

i've upgraded it to Megasquirt n' Spark extra code, has 12x12 spark and fuel tables and a lot of other features that can be added on.
right now i've added fan control, and knock sensor circuit to it. i'm close to adding wide band o2 support.

I have a 381cubic inch LT1 i'm building, and it will most likey be controled by megasquirt for fuel and timing.

Ok, I have a question, does the MEGA not have an 02 input?

It just does MAP, IAT, H2o, and RPM?
If we could crack this to work with the LS1 coils wed be fine.

I have another question, is the 12x12 better if you are just going to be controlling fuel with it? or is the normal 6x6 going to be ok?
Im just trying to find all this out before I make the purschase. I was to make sure that for one I do something right the first time.
