Have a couple questions regarding my PCM and "flashing" it to the M6 program. I have a '95 Z28, and I went to my local dealer today and they told me they would not be able to flash my PCM to a M6 program. They said I will have to find someone with the same year Z28 that has a M6 from the factory, so they can copy the files from his PCM and load them into my PCM using a Tech II computer. Are they giving me the run around or will it be this complicated, short of buying LT1 Edit or Tunercat? Thanks in advance for your help, I appreciate it.

 

All you need is a vin number from a m6, then, when they use the tech2 the tis software will ask if the vin is correct. Then you just enter your new vin and it will load the file of the vin you entered. If they wont do it, you can send it to me and ill swap it to an m6 for you for free. Jessebubb@yahoo.com
