Some help and info on my 98 PCM please I have a stock 98 SS camaro with the stock programming. Ive never touched the PCM and was wondering if the dealer has had updates for my car. Ive been out of cerculation for years now. If so, how would I go about doing it. I only have auto tap as of now. Car has 24k original miles and runs great.
Would anyone know what or if any improvements have been made? and if so, what were they. Did it improve performance?
Only thing Ive noticed with original programing is it ran a little rich at times otherwise the car is fast. Only thing ive done to the car was upgrade the air filter unit and K&N filter. That alone made a big improvement.
Maybe someone can tell me if its worth updating my PCM. The cars runs fine, so would the updates be of any benefit?
