Default security light while driving

Recently my security light has stayed on while driving the car,anyone know
whats happening ?

It would really help if you could pull a code from the pcm. Chances are the lock cylinder is beginning to give trouble. I believe that if the vats module loses the resistance code from the lock cylinder after the engine is running it will turn on the light and the pcm will internally bypass the vats to allow the engine to run on the next engine start up.

No codes shown,owners manual says security system needs dealer attention when this
happens as the security system is malfunctioning.Not my first choice of action if I can help it.

there is a code if the light is on, but its nothing you could read. your key could also not be getting a good connection

If I had to take a shear guess only I would say the lock cylinder is losing connection with the key.
