HumpinSS -> History tab. The editor keeps track of ALL changed made to the cal file. It lists them by date and time and what was performed. Easy to go back and track modifications made to the file throughout your tuning experience
This feature, alone, is worth the price of admission - Unless your time is unlimited and/or worthless.

They just put that feature in and I love it. I did not even know it was there until I went to enter what I just changed.

I like the script function. just set up one script file and it will do all the changes you want on any program file.. Like a supercharger base file, a street rod starter ect.. i save 20 minutes a program setup...

I voted for EFILive/FlashScan because I own it and it is an excellent software/hardware combination. The ease of use, the features and the close integration are the strengths of the package.

It's clear that HP Tuners are the innovators in this market.

HP Tuners:
First to bring an all in one solution to the LS1 market
First to bring an LS1 tuning solution with AD Inputs to the market
First to bring a V6 editor solution to the market
First to bring a functional easy to use 2bar solution to the market
Currently in beta with LS2 products (All ls2 beta testers use VCM Suite 2.0)

I'll leave it at that.

For those that are still on the edge about which company to go with, not only are we the innovators proven by history, but future releases and products will back this up even more so. If you want to be the first one in your state to have it, HPT is your choice.

Here are a few samples from 2.0

Someone had mentioned history. We feel that a simple text based history "list" is not the best idea and chose a more "2005" approach. Here is a screenshot of our history log from VCM Suite 2.0

Here is a shot of our compare log from VCM Suite 2.0. If you'll notice the parmaters compared are different in quantity. This is because I am comparing my tune (12212156) to a 99 tune (9381344).. Yes, different OS's. I can even compare my tune to a V6 file or a ecotec file, or even an LS2 calibration if I wanted too.. Just more power we give to you with our new release.

I really only have LT1Edit and LS1Edit to compare it to, but HP Tuners is way ahead of that garbage. The uploads/downloads are so fast...I love that. Now get to work on an OBD2 LT1 program Keith

Stop with the teaser BS and release it allready. Actually it looks like you downloaded your own eval copy of Efilive and expanded on the feature set.

EFILive-- The pioneers to implement a one stop script feature
EFILive-- The pioneers to implement a comprehensive compare feature
EFILive-- The pioneers to implement black box logging
EFILive-- The pioneers to implement a FULLY Customizable scanner
EFILive-- The pioneers to implement logging more than 24 pids

Wow I am getting tired...

I dont have HPT to compare with but I can say I'm still guessing on the 2 BAR support with EFILive. Not planning to jump ship just yet but the EFILive 2bar release was at least a little disappointing... no docs.. minimal support.. bah!

Our 2bar is all automated..

The honest truth is that our 2bar customers have had little to no issues installing and using our 2bar product. It is a very comprehensive product. We do the hard work to make it easy for you.

If you have any questions regarding the installation and use of our 2bar product feel free to e-mail me. It only takes a few clicks of the mouse to make it all work.

Thanks!

Oh you forgot a few.......

First to bring to market another sad LS1Edit look alike program (looked at your first verions lately). I remember the screen shots, it's also why I never purchased it.
First to bring to market a scanner worthy of a freeware download.
First to bring to market an editor lacking even a 'simple' compare function, 1 year, still nothing!!.
First to shaft customers with a 50% price drop 2 days after EFILive pricing is announced.
First to spend so much time on forums telling everyone how good the new product will be with actually releasing it whilst the competitor releases enhanced versions of the software almost fortnightly (for free, forever).
In your mind Keith you perhaps think you guys are the first for everything, thankfully I handed my money over to the 'leader'.

Here's a few more for you when you release V2.0

HPTuners:
First to release a product with a 3ft USB cable (P.S, welcome to 2003).
First to release a product with a blue LED
First to release a product with a plastic seal over the CD

If HPTuners bulit cars:
First to release a car with a V8 (that had a blue intake cover), damn every manufacturer that made a V8 in the past has copied us.
First to release a car with a 4 speed auto (that has a 5.0 first ratio), damn every manufacturer that made a 4 speed auto in the past has copied us.
First to release a car with 19" wheels (that have 7 nuts) , damn every manufacturer that made 19" wheels in the past has copied us.
Get the picture
