Default Surging and Timing

I need some guidance to end my surging problems from 1000-1600 at low loads.

My base spark tables are at 20deg from 8-1200 down to .40g to help with the parking lot bucking under 1% throttle where main spark tables arent used, but it still bucks.

I've also tried adding and taking away timing on the main spark tables to help with the surging at cruise, still nothing.

I guess my question is, how do you know whether to take away or add more timing when surging occurs, and when does fueling come into play?

I've got my ltfts at -1 to -4 if that helps any.

Thanks for any help.

Playing with timing never really seems to be an effective tool to stabilize surge for me, I've always worked with the VE and idle parameters. The amount of timing you are running at idle is pretty standard, so keep it that way. Got a pic of your 3D VE Table?

PM returned, and also, tuning via trims will not be exact, but get you decently to a good spot.
