Default problem with ABS & tall rear tires...

I have 26" tires in front and 28" tall tires in the rear and the ABS light comes on. Can the pcm be edited for the new tire size? or is there another work around?

thanks

I don't believe there's a workaround... the ABS system detects that the rear wheels are spinning at a different rate than the front wheels ... when driving on the bigger tires just something that has to be put up with

I have the issue and it has killed my brakes and rotors. I am about to buy new tires for the front. Is that all that happens is the abs light or do you have issues stopping?

I really don't have any braking issues(maybe a little spongy), just the annoying lights.

I haven't had ABS in my car for years, TCS light finally burned out, and i'm guessing hte "Brake" and "ABS INOP" lights aren't far behind heh

Mine is a daily driver so I really like the abs, but since I have had the 17's up front and 18's with a little taller tire in back my brake dont work very well at all.
