Stock 2000 LS1 timing
Stock 2000 LS1 timing I was just wondering if anybody off the top remembers what their respective timing values were for their stock LS1's? I noticed the Lo Octane map on my '00 WS6 runs about 19* up top, while the Hi Octane map will run 28*, but I see alot of people talking about how they usually 'max' out timing at 28* on their cars which leads me to wonder if my PCM maps have been altered before I owned the car.
So anybody know the stock upper end timing for these motors?

Also remember with timing, there are several other factors that can affect it... There's a Spark Learn factor that the PCM is constantly changing , it'll keep going closer and closer to the high octane tables if there's no knock
There's also modifiers that add/remove timing based on engine coolant temp, IAT, EGR
