Default Repetitive Codes 135 & 155?

I keep on getting the codes 135 and 155 when my SES light comes on. I changed my passenger O2 sesnor with the bosch 13111 2 weeks ago and the SES light went off. At the time I was getting the 1133 and 155 codes. The SES light went off after the new O2 sensor was installed, but one week later (yesterday) my SES light came back on with the 135 and 155 codes.
When I took it up to autozone to have it scanned they just cleared those two codes out b/c the dude said it was a phony code or I was getting bad gas?
I don't know about that, but why do I keep on getting these two codes?
What can I do about it?

Post up if you've had expereince with these problems, thanks

135 is Bank 1 Sensor 1 heater performance.

155 is Bank 2 Sensor 2 heater performance.

your sensors have good connections? i don't know those part numbers but are those the 'vette sensors?

I believe P0135 is Bank 1 Sensor 1, and that P0155 is Bank 2 Sensor 1.

Do you have a scanner? Both of the links above, have directions about testing O2 heater performance without having to start the car. if the O2 sensor is not heating correctly, you will need to check the O2 fuse and wiring +/- to the sensor. You can read how to do that in the links above.

Some people definitely seem to have more problems with LT's than other people. How is the car running? Strong/weak? Any tuning problems? Did you have it tuned after the LT's? Are you burning any oil? What do your O2's look like?

That helps man I'll check the fuses out. yeah I did a mail order tune after the longtubes were installed. I replaced the passenger side O2 with the hotter burning bosch 13111 O2 that everyone seems to be running now. That turned my codes and SES light off at the time, but it recently came back on. The driver's side O2 has not been replaced and the O2 extensions that I used were the ones that pacesetter provided. The good O2 extensions weren't available to me at the time. Do u think that is causing the problems? i.e the crappy O2 extensions?

I assume its propably the 135 and 155 codes again.

Does anyone know the fuse that controls the O2's? What fuse # is it? DAMN THIS **** IS PISSING ME OFF!

Would replacing the O2's do anything? I've already replaced the passenger side O2. Do I have a short somewhere?

PLEASE HELP ME OUT IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THESE 2 CODES

It's your front o2's.

This is an old old old battle with everyone in mod business. You put headers on. You have removed to some degree the "normal" operating temperature of your stock o2's to figure out your stoich AFR "sign wave" if I may say. You should also after a while see codes 1153...insufficient switching on the heater circuit as well. I have been told that replacing the front(before cats) o2's with the vette REAR o2's will fix this....SOMETIMES. If you have HP scanner and you are looking at the o2's their signal looks like a wave...up and down....all that these codes are getting at is that the wave isn't "quick enough" as per the parameters of the GM engineer brianactics set in PCM shell operating system.
It won't hurt to turn off those codes. Mine have been turned off for two months now...no issues. Of course I never tried the vette o2's, but I got other **** to buy if just turning off the codes doesn't hurt them. Just a note....I live in Maryland...emission testing every two years. Turning the codes off won't effect that either, as long as your pcm passes all readiness tests...your golden.

These codes are everywhere in the search tool on this site, plenty of information. It escapes me right now, but there was a guy from one of the Tuner Company's forum websites that spelled it out pretty well. If I remember it I will repost with a link to the correct explanation.

yeah, the only time I see these codes affect my car is on a cold start and at very low rpms going through low gears right after the cold start. The car kinda bogs for a second or it won't come up to porper idle for a secnd.

I've already replaced the passenger side o2 with the 2002 vette o2 i.e the bosch 13111 o2 sensor that everyone told me to use. Before I swapped the passenger side o2 I was getting the 1133 code, but putting in the vette o2 sensor turned that code off and it hasn't come back.
The only problem I'm having now is the 135 and 155 codes.

I guess since the bosch o2 sensor is still under warranty I'll just pull it and get another one. I guess I'll do the same for the stock driver's side o2 as well.
Damn LT's are a pain in the ***!
