Default Relating afr to power

Is there a way you can relate an afr correction into power? I pulled out the wb last weekend and noticed I was running 10.9 afr @ 6,000 rpm.

Now, if I moved this to 12.8 that is close to a 2 point afr change. How much power is this?

Example
1 point change = 10hp @ given rpm

I'm sure it's not this easy but, is there a pattern you guys have noticed?

Thanks.

Not sure about an across the board correction factor, but just finished getting mine from 10.5 to 12.2 and picked up 25hp across the board. I think this will vary with the combo.

Yea that was the only change, original afr was probably closer to 10.0. Pig rich to nice and clean, even the exhaust note changed for the better.

yes there are some equations, that i actually have used for my thermo class, and you can figure out power from the air fule ratio and fuel flow rates. i never got it to work out though lol

my friends ss we got 10 rwhp moving the a/f very slightly from rich to lean, im sure there was more left, it was prob only a half point that we moved it for 10 hp
