Default MAF question...

may not be the right thread for this so i appoligize if im wrong...

i basically would like to know if it would be in my best interest to change my stock maf with say a granitelli or some other after market unit....im currently running a stock maf but ive come up in mods over the last few months....would i see any gains from changing?? or would it be a waste of money?? my mods in sig and i put down 393rwhp and 385rwtq n/a...im tryin for over 400 with my little 224 cam only...will this and a little more tuning do the trick??? thanx!

A decent tune will get you there before a MAF swap will. I'd save the money you would spend on a MAF for your next mod.

if you find one cheap, sure, why not. recently i put the SLP 85mm on my friend's stockish SS and the calibration came out almost perfectly the same as the stock one, so probably that's not worth it. lots of people like the 6L truck or the z06 one.
