Tuning question
Tuning question I have a FAST 78 intake manifold. My car was tuned with the intake manifold hose at the back passenger side unconnected. After plugging in the hose, the car seems to idle rough and also run rough at part throttle. Would re-tuning make much difference? The disconnected hose was causing the vent to only come out the top and bottom. At least now, my air conditioner works again.
Yes, if you had the vacuum open, for the HVAC controls, your tuner can retune, although he should have caught that during a logging session.
Depending on how much more fuel he had to add to adjust for the loss in vacuum, you could risk washing your cylinders out, thus ruining your engine. Plz dont wait to long.
