surges when stopping
please help... this is the last phase
i do have a 4000 stall if that means anything
which leads to another thing to look at also:
Did you drill your TB hole out (or adjust the idle stop screw and reset the TP sensor)? If so, you might also want to look at the IAC Position vs. effective area table. This table tells the computer how much air the engine can get in (TB hole/leaks around the throttle blade/the PCV/etc.....non IAC) with the IAC at any possision (closed to wide open). If this table is off the computer will THINK it needs more IAC than it really does so it takes longer for it to come down to where it SHOULD be.
Check that "IAC Position vs. effective area" table I told you about. You have increased the amount of air getting into the engine at every IAC point (because of the larger TB hole) and the computer does not know this. Move it over a cell or two and go try it. You will have to play a little till you find the right spot.
