Well the car has done this a total of three time throughout the time i have owned it. First the car will randomly not crank, the battery is dead. So it takes a few time to jump it and when it does finally crank it idles at 1500 then steadily goes up. If you hit the gas it will stay at whereever you rev it up to. ie. i reved it up to 3000rpms and it did not come back down. What could be the problem. I just replaced the throttle position sensor, so that couldn't be it. I am wondering if it is the alternator. What do you think.

I think you were on the right track when you replaced the TPS. Since that didn’t eliminate the problem you should carefully inspect the TPS wiring and connections all the way back to the PCM. If you are especially unlucky, the problem is in the PCM. If you have a spare PCM, run with it for a while and hope the problem is still present.

Found problem. The line lock was draining the battery (wired wrong i guess) and when i jumped it the sensors weren't getting enough power so everything was running wierd. I charged the battery and car runs fine. Also disconected line lock and battery is not drawing.
