is it worth the $$$ for an obd2 car? i will also be picking up lt1 edit. just got my laptop and was planning on heading to tbyrnes tomorrow to pick up the autotap but want some opinions on it first since its 300 bucks. thanx.

Find a used one for < $200 would be my suggestion. They go pretty cheap since most LS1 tuning software come with scanners now. I've used A-tap on OBD2 LT1s and it is adequate. Post a WTB thread here and I'm sure you'll find one.

If you are not getting HPTuners or EFILive combo systems, then get Ease scanning softare...far superior to autotap.

Not sure what Ease is, but he's looking for OBD2 LT1 scanning software.
