Default PCM Gasket Question

I was putting in a shift light a few weeks ago and instead of pulling the cover off I actually took out one of the harneses from the PCM. In the process the gasket pulled up and off the PCM just a bit. I set it back as best as I could but it is a problem if it isn't on there absolutely perfect??

Car doesn't see rain and I bag the PCM during any engine washing.

TIA,
- john

It probably pressed back into place when you tightened the bolt back down.

I was thinking the gasket is in the socket on the harness side. Or maybe it's different on my 98.

It's nearly impossible to get it perfect if you put the gasket on the pcm. Turn the harness over and put it on that side and it will make a nice seal when you tighten it down.
