Man, I'm trying to figure all this stuff out. Just trying to read on here and learn; luckily I've got someone else doing my tunes. But we've not quite got the idle or the IAC's right on my car yet. My car still dies or almost dies (500 or less rpm's) when coming to a stop w/clutch in. And it won't take the gas. My tuner has a new tune built for my car, but I haven't been able to get by there yet (lives 45 mins. away) to have it put in. I just find that it's interesting how so many people have similar problems. Thanks for all the info and willingness from the people on here to help.

i pmed you, if they have hp tuners i can help. to get it just right it will take a lot of cold start fixes so dont get frustrated if it doesnt work the first time. through my trial and error i have 50 tunes for my car just with the cam for idle ahah. now i can help others and net a lot less tunes before it is damn near perfect just because i can see in all my logs what does what. there are some key things you have to do if you want the car right at idle and really arent too hard to conquer when tuning. ill do a write up sometime i just have been too busy lately with work, new internship, and my gf wants attention too sometimes lol but here are some things i have done at idle to help my car out

-open loop f/a
-startup advance correction
-idle/part throttle spark
-idle airflow
-effective area
-iac park position
-iac max set points
-and im sure there are more lol

and the ve of course, may sound like a lot but its just logging a lot of numbers and making easy changes.
