Default Required Changes for Increased Fuel Pressure

I recently installed a Ractronix fuel pump and my fuel pressure jumped from around 52 PSI at idle to 68 PSI. During a few quick WOT blasts, the pressure never dropped below 60 PSI. I tried searching, but found little information regarding tuning for fuel pressure changes.

Could any of you lead me in the right direction (I'm using HPTuners)? I'm assuming I need to alter the IFR table, but I'm not sure what exactly I need to do to it.

Thanks,
Josh

Ashville NC **** yeah I grew up in Brevard.

Have no idea about decreasing pressure I dont think there is a way with any tuning software, might try lowering the voltage from the pump. Why is it a problem. Hopefully someone who knows more will jump in.

Install an Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator and set the pressure at anything you want with the turn of a screw.

I had the same problem on my car with a intank and inline fuel pumps. I did the same as you and searched but never found anything. I found out that once you get the tune on the car dialed in (VE, MAF, ETC) the fuel pressure will fall back in line where it needs to be.

Is the problem because your return fuel line isn't big enough to allow enough flow back into the tank at idle? (causing the pressure increase at the injectors) if so, a new regulator won't help, you will need a larger size return fuel line.

I thought 99+ didn't have return lines?

I also thought that the racetronix kit was supposed to increase pressure a bit.
