Default Need Help with emissions!!

I tried to get emissions twice, and both times I failed. I am not throwing any codes, but i am failing on the OBD readyness test. The 2 things that are not ready are my catalyst and Evap. I did have my car retuned..but i put like 600+ miles on it already and it is still "not ready". Does anyone know the drive cycle that i have to do for the catalyst system to "be ready" or what i have to do with a tune to make it ready?? My car is a 02' H/C TA but i do have cats on the car. Kooks LT's and Kooks catted Y. This is just frustrating me cause my tags are expired now and i can't get new ones till i pass this damn thing. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I've never had to deal with emissions - is this what you're looking for?

Most people seem to have trouble getting the Evap to ready up. I have deleted my AIR, EGR, and Cats and i tuned out the codes with HP Tuners. Only thing i couldn't get to ready up was Evap. You can have 2 or less unreadies to pass here where i live though. Try drving it around more i guess and do some cold / warm starts. Your catalyst should eventually ready up. Don't know what to tell you about the Evap though.

Just by disabling the DTCs for the EVAP system, my EVAP Readiness Flags show "ready".

This drive cycle is the ticket...you may have to do it a couple of times for everything to pass. If you have hpt just get ready of all the egr stuff. I haven't passed my catalyst test yet, but I have in the past with the drive cycle instructions. (keep changing my tunes so everything resets...ughgh) It is definitely a pain in the ***, thank god for tuning software.

With EGR and AIR deleted, how are you getting them to flag "ready"? Here in Mass. the OBD II cars are just scanned with no dyno. If I can get my PCM to show they are ready, I'll delete them from under the hood...

Yeah it's the same testing they do here in some cities in Oregon (like mine). I have HP Tuners and i just set the codes relating to the EGR, AIR, and catalyst to "do no report error" and i've gotten all of them to ready up. I passed emissions with flying colors.

That is exactly what I was looking to know! Thanks!
