Default Is this strange, or is it me??? (LTFT Related)

So, after unplugging the MAF, and driving about 120 miles. I logged my data as normal, and I came up with this.

Then, I made my adjustments to the VE table as instructed, then I did the relearn again, drove about 120 miles. I logged this:

Am I going in the wrong direction??? In the second relearn, the LTFT's tripled!!! Should'nt they be going closer to zero???

Thanks for any input!

Jason

when modifying the VE table did you do multiply by % or something else? also did you do this to the primary VE table and then afterwards copy to the secondary? or did you try the paste special on the secondary table? (shouldn't do that since 2ndary table is less resolution than logged data)

I did what the instructions said,"Now, copy your LTFT histogram, and “Paste Special – Add” it into the VE table. Do the same with you STFT histogram.

The first time, I did copy it to the second VE table, but now that I thinking about it, I think I smoothed the second table alot, and only smoothed the first table a little. Could that be the reason?

Thanks,
Jason

You want paste special - multiply by %. Can you post what your secondary ve table looked like before and after?

I followed these instructions.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/pcm-diagnostics-tuning/304025-guide-ve-tuning-using-fuel-trims.html

But, I don't know it matters, I smoothed the secondary VE table more than the first.

Before(stock),

After(First Relearn& Smoothed),

Thanks,
Jason
