Cams and tuning

I was curious if untuned cammed cars generally run lean?In my case I will have an F13, so basically I want to know if it will blow up if I get on it untuned?

ive seen it both ways really...id say try tot stay out of it until tuned.

Once I started tuning mine, I was surprised to see how rich it was after putting the cam in. I was scared to have anyone around my car with a lit cigarette!

Mine was rich too, but I turned the MAF off as well. Hadn't run it with the MAF on yet.

Ok so its pretty much a given these cars run rich even with a cam until tuned?Also,I have duals,LTs,lids,ported TB,and no cats if that matters.Im tired of waiting to put the damn thing in I just dont want to blow it up!
