Swaping bad PCM with locked LS1Edit
My PCM went bad recently.
1. How do I switch it out - is it a matter of just pulling some wire connections and putting in the new unit? Or is this a dealer project only?
2. How do I get a locked version of LS1Edit to work with the new PCM?

^^^ actually send them 100 plus 50 shipping plus 50 for a new update service... or send them your old PCM and 50 bux and they *may* be able to recover it

Or you can take the $200 you were going to spend to add your license, and trade in your Edit on HPT. I'm not a huge HPT fan as some may know, but its a good deal. You can trade in your LS1 Edit and pay I think $350 for the standard cable and have a program that is 10x better. I tried to find the link but to no avail. The search on HPTs site isn't the best.
