Default Car died at 75

A strange thing happened to me today. I was getting on the freeway and on it hard all the way through first, all the way through second shift directly to fourth and coast for a few seconds. Doing about 75ish when the car just dies. I pull over to the side and crank it over. It turns over fine, but not firing. I try this a couple times and then it just starts right up. Drove the rest of the way home (~5mi.) with no problems. Got home and shut it off and started it back up a couple of times with no problems.

I don't have a way to scan for codes right now.

Any suggestions? Oh engine, ECM, and T56 are all 99 Camaro.

If it was an older car, I would say your coil overheated, but on these motors that is strange.

Fuel pump perhaps.

You can always take it to autozone to have the codes checked. I'd love to see them try to explain to you that a 70 corvette doesn't have a computer

A buddy of mine is dropping off a code reader tonight and I should be able to scan it first thing tomorrow morning. Will let you all know what I find out.

I think I may have found the problem. The ground wire for my aux fuse block was loose, screw stripped out. When I disconnected the ground wire just a minute ago, it gave me the same indications I had on the side of the road. The aux fuse block powers the elec fans, injectors, PCM, sensors and fuel pump. I am going to get a bolt and nut and cinch it down later today.

I have been wanting to scan for codes anyway so I will still do that.
