Bad spring causing cam sensor code?
About a year ago I got a bad cam sensor code and, after replacing the cam sensor with an OEM unit the cPCM odes did not reappear.
After a new PCM was replaced last week at the GM dealer, however, they now tell me the car is throwing a bad cam sensor code.
After thinking about this awhile, I suspect it may be a broken valve spring that is causing the cam sensor code to go off.
Any thoughts here?
Thanks

if you have a broken valve spring you'll hear it... I would find someone that can do a crank relearn procedure on the new PCM and see if it goes away (anyone w/HP Tuners or EFI Live can do a relearn)
