Scan Tool.

Would the scanner aspect of Efilive or Hp tuners be comparible to a GM Tech 2?

i haven't tried a tech 2 but I'd bet HPT/EFI are definetly as good and probably better... between the charts, histograms, table displays... makes data analysis really easy... not sure if the tech2 has anything comparable?

No. There is so much more you can do with a TECH2 that the other scanners do not offer. Especially with body modules and bi-directional controls.

If all you want to do is data log then EFI Live or HPtuners is very good.
