3rd blown cam sensor - UHG! Has anyone experienced this before?
It seems like every 12 months or so I blow a cam sensor. I had the cable and PCM wires checked by a dealer and it is OK.
Could this be realted to the cam reluctor collecting metal or other material?
Could this be related to a bad cam; cam is Comp special grind that has been in hte car about three years now.

I fugure the cam reluctor is messed up.... The GM dealer said the reluctor is built into the cam but I do not remember seeing anything unusual at the back of the cam shaft when I swapped the old and new cams....
