Question mail order tunes

i'm almost ready for another cam swap, just need to get some gastets and i'm set. i was thinking the other day about getting a mail order tune from FMS instead of dyno tuning it. i've heard that allen does some kick *** tunes. that's why i'm considering it.

for those that do have one from FMS do you like it? how exactly would i go about doing this??

I thought about doing that man, but for another couple hundred bucks, you can get HPTuners, and tune it yourself everytime you change something. After a couple more mods where you need a tune, it's paid for itself.

Mail order tunes work well and are cheaper then a dyno tune. You won't get as much from it as a dyno tune but there is some gains and they can compensate for a new cam and what not. Buying the software yourself is good if you understand the tables and what not.

Yeah, Jason at TSP nailed my mail order tune first try. Not bad for $200. I'm sure Allen can do a good job with it, esspecially if it's one of his cams.
