What are the full effects of enabling the PRNDL Equipped flag on a 6spd car?

This function doesn't work on F-bodies nor some trcuks. The "PRNDL Enabled" from my experience does not function. The cars I have scanned only show 1, 2, 3, 4 gear ... nothing about P, R, N. Pretty much the ECM sees the trans in forward gear, with an auto it sees the different forward gears. I have been trying to get this to work (two-step) with no avail. I am not giving up yet though.

so grounding/applying power to pin 34 of the blue PCM connector (normally a orange/black wire) with that enabled does not make it think its in park? have you tried that yet?

 

It works with auto harnesses. the P/N can be wired into your trans brake.
There's a functional m6 pcm programmed 2 step out there, I've not figured out how it works yet tho.

I think Keliente has a programed 2 step, but i think she used tunercats...believe its a m6

 

so can we do this on an m6 car or does it have to be an auto?
if so can someone post instructions on how to do that!
