Default Insufficent switching problem ?

I have changed the front sensors with new ones and It is still turning on the ses. I did have some 110 octane gas in the tank along with premium 93 .
so I ran it down and put 10 more gals of 93. I don't think there is enough 110 left to hurt now. I just got my turbo installed and tuned to. it runs great .
Will it hurt to run it with the ses on ? can anyone tell me what to do next.
Thanks

Sounds like your O2s are getting sleepy...it happens. Was the 110 leaded? If so, that'll kill your sensors in a hurry...sounds like you need to bite the bullet and replace them.

What codes are you seeing 1153/1133? It could be anything. Have the codes read and let us know what they are.

I'm getting both the 1133 and 1153 setting at the same time. They come back a couple of ignition cycles after they clear. any ideas?

Your O2 sensors are dead (well, they are on their way to being dead). Replace them. That is the only thing you can do. If the 110 was leaded gas, that is what probably caused (or at least sped up) their demise...

I'm assuming the 110 was leaded? if so the sensors will probably need replacing eventually... the lead in the gas coats the sensors so they don't react as fast as they should...

If the gas was leaded then sounds like you'll need to replace your O2 sensors....

as far as running w/the SES on ... it probably won't hurt anything... but you'll have poor gas mileage since I believe these codes cause the car to run Open Loop all the time... so it'll run rich all the time since the PCM can't use the O2 sensors to tell if it's at 14.7:1 AFR

...unless you are really sneaky, have a wideband O2 sensor installed full time, and run an Open Loop SD tune
