Default New FAQ section for LS1Tech PCM Tuning!!!!

I'd like to add FAQs to the main sticky.... I added 2 today ...

I'm going to classify them in 2 ways (if you have a suggestion on other classifications let me know.... this is YOUR section afteralll)

for now... I'm going to classify as:

Tuning FAQ (simple tuning questions, where we can provide answers for the major tuning softwares.... questions like "how do I tune my VE table" aren't simple .... questions like "how do I disable my rear O2 sensors" would be ok though)

and Generic FAQs
(example... will I lose my tune if I disconnect my battery)

However.... I need help

Please post simple FAQ items here... FAQs should be something that's a 1 line question and couple line answer at most...

For examples... check the main "READ ME FIRST" sticky

If your FAQ is used you will get credit for it

I'm not going to sticky this post yet since we have too many sticky's already heh..... (I will be removing more sticky's and combining threads of the next few weeks)

For now... I'd rather this thread stay afloat based on YOUR feedback...

One post per FAQ item please

Thanks

The best is a personal decision. Here is some info that will help you decide.

Might want to add a link to the OBD2 look up page as well. Seems alot of people completely miss that thread.

What about the common, If my computer was tuned with Edit, how do I use tuners? or For us HPTuner newbs, When I try to read/write to my vehicle it says there is no cable found, but I was just using my VCM Scanner fine Alot of the basics are covered in the LS1Tuning.doc. Some may want a bit more help with using a few of the guys excel sheets on here or how to diable or delete this and that and not want to look for it in the .doc.
