MAF affects on shifts

Default MAF affects on shifts

If i change my MAF to Z06 and put in the Z06 MAF table then my shifts should be like stock, or am i wrong?

I never noticed a relationship between the MAF and the shift tables.

You should be fine. He is refering to on some cars when you remove the MAF it effects the tranny pressure. The tranny will shift harder until the MAF is plugged back in.

On the 98 the PCM uses the MAF to calculate tranny preassure (this is why some people get tranny problems when they port their MAF) but if i get the right maf-table then there shouldn´t be any problems, right?
