I was just driving my car and all of a sudden when I hit the brakes before a stop sign, the pedal was pushing up like when the ABS is activated and the "Low Trac" light came on. From then on, more than half the times I hit the brakes the same thing would happen. I have stock rims and tires and I've had a 4 channel 12 bolt for 2 years now and that's never happened before. I tried shutting the car off but that didn't help at all. Does anyone know what would cause this?

Brake pad failure, low brake fluid, rubber brake hose leaking, vaccume hose to power brake leaking, just a few ideas.

Is there anything in particular i can look for to narrow the choices down at all?

Make a list, start at the front and work your way back. Process of elimination will narrow the list down fairly quick.
