Well, I got my car back together and it is now at Speed Inc. and they are trying to tune it, but are having big problems. Setup is stock 346 short block, H/C car with a 242/250 cam, high compression 5.3 heads, 42lb. injectors, LS6 intake, FLP headers, Walbro 340 in tank pump, other typical bolt ons. It's being tuned in open loop since the cam is so big.
Anyway, the car is running pig rich and it will not lean out no matter what they try over there. They even set the injectors as 150lb. injectors in the software and it runs pig rich still. Everything seems to be in order, except they can't get it to lean out. They said the injectors seem fine (they aren't locked open or anything), the fuel pressure checks out ok, and it's making decent power on the dyno for running as rich as it is but they just can't figure it out.
They want to try to swap PCM's to see if that could be the problem, but it's really just a guess at this point. Anyone ever seen this before or had this problem? If anyone has any ideas, please post up! Thanks a bunch guys.

Uh.... I didn't ask Larry about that, but I'm guessing something is up because when I brought the car in it had an SES light on, but I'm not sure what codes were thrown. He never mentioned anything about that to me, so I'm guessing whatever it is/was it isn't major.
The car also has a stock MAF we put on there too. He said everything seems fine on the car, he just can't get it to lean out at all. He wants to try a new PCM thinking that mine is just freaked out or something, but neither he nor I have heard of this happening before.

has he tried a full reflash (OS and calibration file) on the PCM?
If not, I might do a full reflash to an '02 OS, then a full reflash to a stock '01 tune. After that, I'd start the tuning process over again.
Might be worth a shot.
