most here, want to play with thier own tuning, and will reccomend a tuning software.

There are benefits to both, if you just want a tune to help your vehicle, a mail order tune can do wonders.

If you want to tune your car, then a tuning software is what you need.

HPtuners and EFI live both offer a 0 horsepower gain, as they just allow you to modify the stock binary file, where you must make the changes to make more power.

as mentioned.... an HP Tuners tune guarantees 0hp .. since you are making all the changes

If you want full control of the PCM and are willing to devote the time neded to learn how to tune your car.... then HP tuners or EFI Live are your best bet....

If you just want a mail order tune .... then I can't comment... since I've never had a mail order tune

Yeah well I was leaning towards it (HP Tuners) anyway but I was wondering what most of you guys thought. I'd like to play w/ the parameters of my car as well
