remove old PCM
Install new PCM

not sure of an actual procedure.... remove the plastic caps from your PCM..... unscrew the 2 7mm bolts... disconnect the wiring harness connectors.... pull your PCM out... put your new PCM in... screw the 7mm bolts back in , replace plastic caps.... you're done..

It's not very difficult....

Might be worth disconnecting the battery first before you start unpluging and pluging cables etc.

If it is a new one from gm, they are not ready to go. They need flashed with a tech 2 or a programmer, to put in your vehicle specs ect..... They come empty except for an operating system so you can put the program in.

There's also a plastic box around the PCM that you might need to unbolt just to get a little more play in it to remove the PCM. I know mines a bitch to remove if I don't. The whole thing's really easy once you look at it just take your time and don't muscle it around.
